Kiwi Visitors Join Raffles Night at Tathra Beach Bowling Club

Across the Ditch for a Night of Raffles

We had a brilliant night at Tathra Beach Bowling Club recently, welcoming some special visitors from across the Tasman – Dave, Mathew and Justin joined us for a fun evening of raffles, and they certainly didn’t leave empty-handed!

Dave scored the large meat tray, while Mathew took home the seafood raffle. Not a bad haul for a couple of Kiwis on Australian turf! With Dave proudly sporting his Australian jersey and the Kiwi visitors ready to embrace the friendly rivalry, it made for the perfect opportunity to gather everyone together for a photo.

Rugby Rivalry Ahead – Wallabies vs All Blacks

The timing couldn’t have been better, with the Wallabies taking on the All Blacks this Saturday, followed by Australia versus the Kiwis in the World Cup next Thursday. The trans-Tasman rivalry is always one of the most exciting matchups in rugby, and having our Kiwi mates in the club made for some great banter.

Whoever you’re backing this week, there’s no better place to catch the action than at Tathra Beach Bowling Club. Come down, grab a drink, and enjoy the matches with the local community.
